Every bar for miles around was packed. I don't have stats to back it up but it didn't seem like anywhere was missing out. Also, the seasonal places were only licenced until 10pm.

I know Underbelly aren't the greatest, but the principle of staging seasonal events that fill the city with people isn't an inherently bad one.

Have you walked down Sauchiehall street on a Saturday night after 9pm recently? I would love that the city I was born in wasn't like that, but it is. Stereotypes can still be accurate and wishing they weren't doesn't make it less so.

Saw pics from a Xmas break in Malaga City. The market, bars & streets were heavenly. Passed ours later that day & cringed🥴
