I think that Biss really struggles when he's overplayed. Inconsistency is definitely an issue with him but he's a far better fit for the system than Bentancur. I am optimistic about Bergvall's development as a #6, I much prefer him there than further up the pitch - ThreadSky

This is the problem for like 50% of our current starting 11. They aren’t elite enough to standout for 8 games a month, but if they could play every other they can still be quality; perfect squad players you could say;

Biss / Bentancur / Maddison / Son / Johnson all immediately come to mind.

Definitely, they should be the first port of call every game, but rather rotated/impact subs etc.

Im really trying not to be negative but with the January window coming up, I am thinking the game with Wolves might be more important for Ange’s future than we’d probably want it to be. We might not even get to the next stage of the rebuild

If we lose to Wolves I fear it's curtains for Ange, but have hope we'll otherwise stay the course on the rebuild. Agreed, he still probably throws himself about a bit too much to be entirely trusted to stay on for 90 or not give away possession too cheaply from time to time, but is no longer looking undercooked or desperately in need of a loan, as he had earlier.
