The point I was trying to make, maybe unsuccessfully, is that lack of leadership is often a default criticism after any defeat, and that people often look for visible signs of leadership when there is more than one way to be a leader.

Think it was clear and completely agree. The match is only 90-minutes, the leaders will be far more influential over the course of the week than the actual game. Game management expertise I think is what we’re needing to continue develop, think we have a great crop of characters.
I think that the issue last night was the we struggled to retain and progress the ball in the first half, giving Arsenal control and we made a few stupid mistakes for the second goal. I don't see that as a leadership issue but one of quality and ability.
I do understand it but, genuine question, what acts of leadership would you like to see? I think it’s just your best players fulfilling their role to the max is the best form of leadership within football.
I think those I stated above. Someone organising especially defence. Motivation and talking on the pitch. Recognising game state and acting accordingly. Demanding the ball and looking to change something when needed.
