I'll never forget seeing a Premier HTS 484 for the first time at a Memorial Day Parade. My high school band was always in the town parade, and we were joined by a local fife and drum band. Their lone snare drummer had a HTS 484 and we were all looking at it, and asking to play on it.

It sounded so crisp and tight compared to our non-free-floating Stingray snares. Nowadays, I think most most drumlines use Yamaha Free Floaters. Premier is no longer en-vogue. But I'm still happy to have this vintage snare and play on it.

I won't be at AC 2025. But I plan on going to WPAFW.
