We've named his partner Lil' Grump, or LG for short, as she is generally grumpier and more territorial (especially when babies are around). She has warmed up over the years though, but she's more likely to keep an eye out over the scene as Marcus and any babies eat.

Beautiful friendship! Meet Yaren the stork and Adem the fisherman. Yaren has been coming to his boat for 12 years. Last year he also brought his wife, and they had babies now. A celebrity family in Turkey. We keep track of their routes; Baby#5 is in Jordan these days, for instance.

I made friends with a mated pair when I moved to Seattle in 2020, but I moved out of that apartment before their babies left the nest and I think about them all the time now. (It's unclear whose territory I'm in at my WS house but I do expose beetle grubs for them when gardening.)

Cat and dog kibble! The occasional can of Friskies canned cat food that are bits not pate. I'm pretty sure all the surrounding houses have an empty can or two on the roof :)
