Also this should go without saying but Trump does not care about tenure. Tenure will not protect you. Affiliation with a wealthy private institution will not protect you. Time for mass, unprecedented solidarity in academia, across disciplines, rank, and institution.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they start detaining more academics. This is part of Trump’s plan to destroy higher ed. As the Khalil case shows being in a blue state is no protection. University administrators
