Take that energy and use it on the billions lost in productivity, negative health outcomes, and death that occurs on NYC roadways resulting from abuse and overuse by single-occupant vehicles.

Congestion pricing revenues go towards MTA projects. Demand on the transit system is different than demand on the roadway system - people walking or queueing for MTA trains do not spew GHG into their neighbors faces.
Yes and making fare evaders actually pay would also go to MTA projects. People may not be spewing GHG but they spewing more meth/crack head fumes, rotting flesh, uncleaned homeless, bedbugs, urine, knife wounds, gun shots wounds, and people pushed into trains.
