Berries are expensive? I tend to get my produce from my local Mexican market Northgate, where things tend to be less expensive compared to major markets. I guess I haven’t compared the prices in years. But then again, I don’t always buy berries.
If you have a 5x8 piece of backyard you do t care about, plant like 8-12 raspberry and blackberry stalks and they will multiply over time. We were hauling in quarts a day over the summer. Somehow they just stopped at the end of October here in Michigan. Happy berry eating to all the Millers!
Costco is the hack Greg. Strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries are all insanely cheap and better quality than the groceries store. Thank me later.
Inflation has done less damage to my pocket book than the day this dumb Canadian dad decided it was a good idea to bring home the fancy greenhouse strawberries from Costco.
Myself and my parents were lucky. We had wild blackberries growing behind the house. While a pain to maintain and trim, I ate SO many during summer, lol
Wait until Ben start liking nuts. Turns out my kid is some connoisseur that will only eat the good stuff - whole cashews, fucking pecans. I’m not made of money, what’s wrong with a peanut!

Sometimes they want fresh berries, sometime frozen, but regardless what form it is in they always need SO many berries.
