I think what will stick in my mind most from that meeting was a cmr. vocally taking offense to a suggestion that our city’s housing approach is exclusionary and functionally discriminatory, and soon after his colleague straight up said if you can’t afford a $1.7m house you don’t deserve to live here

Actually one other thing I’ll remember. That commissioner also lamented the possibility of 20-30 new families on the roads causing traffic while dropping kids off at school. 20-30 new families enrolling in our schools is a huge win! You want to stop that because they might drive there???
