She faces off with a local crime boss, who apparently has most of the town officials on his payroll. As a US film, the stuntmen here are bulkier, relying on being tanks over technique. This, and a very small budget, means the big stunts of Rothrock's HK films are largely traded for grounded fights.

The fights are good. Rothrock shows off her weapons prowess, as well as executing signature moves and quick technique. Not having a big final boss fight is a problem, but she's well matched by Richard Norton and Keith Cooke as they mow down stuntmen. Not a thinkpiece, but fun.

Lady Reporter [AKA The Blonde Fury]. Her one true starring role in a Hong Kong film, co-directed by Corey Yuen and Mang Hoi. Amazing fights, including one that, let's just say, should have at least been in the Thank You credits for a particular Marvel movie.
