It is. I shared it yesterday. Retweet of course. This guy had no problem sharing tweet content and photos as his own on Twitter. I unfollowed for it. Seems he has the same scruples here. ππ
Daytime photo, looking back the other way, taken from the London House rooftop. In the above photo, it's the building in the distance with the purple cupola.
Damn, I miss Chicago! Spent 20 formative years there from undergrad, first jobs thru grad school. Got to be with one of my fav grad school buds today. Fedo was in town for a work event. I literally squirrel lunch every day at my desk, but made time today and it was fabu. #priotizefriends π₯°
Born and raised in Chicago and Southern suburbs. Yes, it has it's problems but I love downtown Chicago...So beautiful! I will never leave Illinois, my forever Blue state.
We love Chicago. Had an apartment after we married in 1966. Now, our grandson & girl friend actually live in the loop. It was our dream. We live in Colorado now. Nice pic. Remember Marina Towers going up.
Hey @pixiestyxunicorn.bsky.social Did you take this photo? I thought for certain I had seen it posted yesterday, sure enough had liked the exact same photo from your feed.
Highlight of my trip to Chicago was the architecture tour. I recommend it to everyone. You get a great view of the city and a docent who tells the history of many of the buildings and the city itself.
The tourist traps are ok...but the real fun is living somewhere with real neighborhoods....where it isn't yet just one chain restaurant after another, where the neighborhoods have real history and distinct feels.

I've looked for an earlier pic, but this seems to the the original post.

Very bad for wildlife, very sad and very un-pretty.
