As an outsider, I have wondered how he won given that there seems to be more voices against tan in favour. Though those in favour appear to be louder. I could only assume they did not vote, but it could be a quirk of the electoral system, which we sometimes get in the UK.

It’s a quirk of the electoral system. Basically, 250,000 votes in a few states won him the electoral college. (AND the voters dropped right before the election AND the mailed ballots burned or challenged AND the bomb threats at blue county polling places…)
