My little granddaughter (7+) knows this from school. She was heading to the red zone because there was something she really wanted but wasn't getting . I asked her to tell me how to get out of the red zone as it is useful for me! So she wrote - on the wall - "just do that thing I really want" . 🙃🙃

I'm sure lots of people would be interested. I'm often amazed by what seemingly "little" things can trigger a meltdown or big behaviours in a teenager that's experienced trauma
