I’m a simple man, without the mental capacity to juggle multiple medications. I take a very cute low dose of regular old adderall for my (to me) raging ADD and that’s it. 😆

I’m complicated then I guess. I was switched from Adderall to Vyvanse because of the shortage (both meds at highest dose lol). My ADHD identifies as combined type + severe 💅 And also I’m a neurodivergent drug counselor who will “joke” that I’m microdosing medical meth for the diet autism. 🙃

Also I have a healthy reserve of both meds from both forgetting to take them and also rationing Adderall when it was my ADHD med during the shortage.

I tried Vyvanse and a couple of others first, we settled (to my psychiatrist’s surprise) on plain old OG adderall as the one that had the best combination of functioning as intended + not making me feel like shit. It does the job. My life has been changed!

Yaaayyyy! I love it when any of us can not get written off because we’re adults with ADD/ADHD, and can access proper working treatment! They make it harder than it ever needs to be (or should be).
