There are many good reasons to keep the UNC basketball arena on campus, but the one closest to my heart is that students deserve an arena on their campus, one they can easily walk to. Going to games as a student was part of my UNC experience that I will always treasure.

We don't think Carolina North is the best location for a basketball arena due to traffic, proximity to downtown, and future difficulty in attracting businesses. (It seems like a better place for housing where the airport is....)
