I teach this all the time. Unfortunately most people wait until they need credit to look at and work on their credit.

Agreed! I’ve been building my number up but I only had one active line on my history, so the banks don’t trust me & the fact that I’m 1099 too makes them skeptical. It’s okay tho, I’m going to get the job done!

Experian Boost lets you put your bills into it and they boost your score from that.
