I'll have to agree with some of the other responders...FFX-2 is very underrated. I am not scared to admit I teared up at the ending of FFX and yelled at my screen that Square *HAD* to make a sequel - even though they never had before.

A lot of people just didn't give it a chance because it was so 'girly' 🤮 such a shame. The dress sphere combat system is phenomenal, and some of the music is among the best in series. The FFX-2 Besaid theme is stellar...1,000 Words of course, Memory of Lightwaves.

I think the only thing I really disliked was the creepy behavior of Rikku's brother towards Yuna. It just felt so out of the left field and then there's that whole subplot with Cid and Zanarkand that was a bit of a headscratcher.

Trust me I was squealing into my pillow when Tidus and Yuna reunited in the Perfect Ending.

FFX-2 Was a such a fun ride. I have my own criticisms about it but I will have fond memories of it back in the day.

Also Yuna is a queen.

FFX-2 is criminally underrated. Great characters, fantastic battle system, awesome music, continuation of the first game without feeling like a shoehorned cash grab. Yuna was the best FF protag.
