The creators most affected by this will be POC creators, queer creators, small business owners and disabled creators. TikTok gave us the opportunity to build a following and thrive.
It’s crazy. Creating content like this now kind of seems to me like gig economy minus any contracts. Creators provide the product with zero security or benefits and the tech bros profit. Yikes! I’m really sorry this is happening.
