Can support Trump on some issues but certainly not on others (or most). As a zionist, I can imagine no greater ally than the current administration. As a proud supporter of Ukraine, I can imagine no greater foe (outside actual Russia). Biden was really bad on Ukraine but way better than Trump.
We had many discussions over that topic on Twitter and I always had that stance nevertheless there are such people and for the greater good of Ukraine we put that aside and worked together. I don't see many of them here on Bluesky...
I think we have to differentiate between RHETORICALLY as well as FULLY supporting both Trump and Ukraine. There is always an argument to try to manipulate those that sympathize with Trump, as well as those that are just deluded in some fashion.
Still some nasty remnants of it. Like KGB Dude. He’s not a communist, but he likes the dictatorship part, the KGB practices, & complete disrespect for all the neighbors…
If the federation had been broken up, they might have had a chance. The doomsayers that claimed we were safer with "the devil we know" (i.e., russia keeps control over all the nukes) were completely wrong.
Asian countries should pull an EU, excluding China, North Korea, and Russia. Then, do everything they can to get the republics to leave the Russian Federation. Same with the regions in China that have cultures being destroyed.
It's a missed opportunity for Russia to rebuild itself as something useful after the collapse of the soviet union, but they chose the same imperialist route.
Specifically, the Caucuses such as Dagestan Tataristan and Chechenia should have gotten full independence, and the far off regions like Siberia should have gotten more local autonomy in a more Federated system.

With most money being given up to 1996.
Beyond the G8, Russia could have eventually joined NATO itself if they wanted
Russia wasn't the country the west wanted it to be.
