I know I read a count that as of the last employee census numbers on record from 2021 - just under 30% of the VA hires at that point were veterans

They’ve been short-staffed for so long. I’m sure AI programs will “solve” that based on the way UHG/UHC & Cigna went after putting it to use in their systems.
Wouldn’t be surprised if tens of thousands lose access & even get charged for treatment, etc. from months or years ago
