I've always been told off by opticians for wearing my contact lenses while in the shower (told off during my eye tests; they weren't in the shower with me), due to an increased risk of eye infections from doing so, but today we had a break through

Like, despite never having had an eye infection, I've been pretty heavily scolded at times over it, but today it turned out that, as (unless I'm washing my hair) I have the showerhead positioned at a height so the water hits me at shoulder level rather than at head height, it's all okay
I get told off for this too. And for swimming. They would rather I just plough straight into other members of the gym. (Luckily this would be at a place slow enough that no injuries would occur.)
