I feel this — but with acnh I also get stressed when I don’t have my ideal decorations unlocked. I see no point in decorating and then I get annoyed because everything is ugly or empty

SAME.... fields of mistria eliminates this problem for me bc it feels more meant to be a cozy game whereas stardew and acnh will practically punish you for not being diligent enough

Ohhhhh there are trophy hunters here in Palia as well! You can take a break whenever and don’t have to stress yourself out if you are burnt out.
