So I’ve only just started the manga. For the anime though I’m in the middle of the whole cake island arc. I started watching just over a year ago and I have to say one piece is perhaps the greatest piece of fiction, ever.

I stopped watching the anime some time in the Whole Cake Island arc myself. After 10 minute hallway running scenes in Punk Hazard and the similar flood of fillers in Dressrosa my brain couldn't anymore. I started the manga and damn it is so good. To me, the anime is fun, the manga is a magnum opus.
