To take it further, think of Trump as not the President of the US, but its Billionaire appointed liquidator. I totally agree —Trump is serious. He admires Putin and wants to be just like him. Remember how Trump reacted after Russia invaded Ukraine? While most people expressed complete horror, Trump said Putin made a “genius” move. Scary.

Right. It's possible that this started out as random words from a disordered brain, but however it's hardened into constant threats of annexation, with Trump minions going on the cable shows arguing for annexation.
