Same for me. Felt like I had put so much effort and commitment for a period of time. Unfortunately, the effort I was putting in compared to the results I was getting was very depressing to say the least. It has been 3 years since I had stopped, but Pewdiepie made me change that 🔥

Seriously don’t get how people can see a video with the message “with enough time and practice you can be good at anything you want” and take it as “this guy who’s been doing art for a year is better than me so my art is worthless” like it’s supposed to be inspirational twitter is crazy

i do like comparing myself and saying "their art better than me" but at least i dont easily quit and still drawing regardless. but yeah

Ya definitely I’ve only been doing art for like 1 and a half years and balancing it with personal life and a job so my art isn’t nearly as good as other artists but I like taking that as inspiration seeing what they do that I like and if it can fit my style. Which I feel is a healthy response
