Habeck's lack of understanding of numbers is clear: raising the defense budget to 3.5% of GDP would increase it from €58.6 billion to €147 billion – nearly 31% of the federal budget. By comparison, education and research receive €20 billion, and health €15.3 billion. An absurd priority.
