Go ahead. I have mixed feelings. Gameplaywise I think it has moved in the right direction. I played a Duelist rogue, and while i think it needs more, it's been fun. Beyond that, I think they had some great character ideas that mostly are underdeveloped, and that's like 90% of Dragon Age, to me.
Yes. Although did not personally love it. It felt really disconnected from the rest of the series it was too cheerful. But not yucking someone else's yum.
As a DA die hard, I’m in love. Yes some of the dialogue is bulky but it’s the most I’ve followed the details of a video game story in a long time. I also loved how much BioWare is like “f*** you non-binary people exist” 🖤💛💜
Be enjoying it myself. All this hate on the game and I have a lot of hours in and yet to even see that scene that has people all upset. They all made it seem like it was more than what it is. They missing out on a really good game.
I’m about 25 hrs in and am enjoying it more and more as it goes on. Combat and exploration is fun, and the environments are absolutely gorgeous. The writing and dialog is rough at the start but does get better, although it’s still the weakest part of the game for me.
I'm enjoying it so far! Good customisation and characterisation, love Treviso. Didn't realise people were hating it but then again, I haven't come from X, I just joined this when I realised from my brother by-proxy of Emily Rohm that there was -some- social media that wasn't horrid
I honestly had a good time I just wish they gave you more options in dialogue wise so if for my second playthrough I just wanted to be evil as much as I wanted I could
I'm the target demographic for it (enjoyed the shit out of BG3, grew up playing Skyrim, love fantasy RPGs) and can't tell if it's actually bad or not bc of all the people whining elsewhere. Is it worth picking up? Do I need the other games to understand it?

Or ill cry :(
(I'm a big fan of the series)
I would argue it should be a contender for Game of the Year.
(didn't play but only because of huge backlog of other games)
