Exactly. BSky has a framework for third party tagging, and blocking anything with tags you dislike. Don't want ads? Activate a "labeler" that tags them and then hide those tagged posts. Absolutely nothing other than us voting with our feet - as we will with other platforms that don’t serve us. But you’re right , there are no guarantees when our attention is the product being sold. #ZeFrankFan

We should want bargaining power. Voting with your feet is a massive thing when your business is burned by a platform not honoring the rules it had when you grew your business. You are abandoning something you built. The technology mediated it but act like they gave it to you.

Voting with our feet has proven more and more difficult. My friend network is FINALLY showing signs abandoning FB. Until they do, I'm stuck checking there, to keep up with the people I care about.

There's a critical mass that's hard to start moving.

I'm optimistic for BSky, but frankly, the conversations here are pretty thin. Many of my friends have signed up, but they don't check up here, much less post.

This conversation is already one of the better ones I've had on the site.
