But you can’t let them take you down either. So bolster your strength & don’t go running after every bit of chaos as it develops. Because it’ll keep coming, again & again.
Choose your battles if they make sense & fight when you can have an honest impact. Otherwise, find a place of peace to the best of your ability & protect your sanctuary.
It’s okay to be angry, but don’t let hate become all that you are. We find strength in those around us. So stand by those who matter, bring love to those around you, & continue to build a community upon which you can rely.
This is how we move forward; this is how we build a better life even while the world burns. Look to those you love & plant gardens in the desert. Then water it, nurture it, & it will sustain you even in the darkest of times.
