The only deal they should accept is that Musk is deported, assets seized, enough House and Senate Republicans resign to give Dems both chambers, and articles of impeachment against Trump and Vance are drawn up immediately and that enough Senators will vote to remove him.

Steals floor time Rs desperately need to work out their reconciliation/tax plan, especially if it drags out for a while. Forcing Rs to burn political capital to keep the government open at all vs them burning it to cut medicaid is a net positive for the former.
