Why would we need stimulus checks? Economy is doing great, unemployment rate is low, minimum wage in MOST states is up, stock market is doing good. Housing is more expensive but people are also earning more. Even inflation rate is down.

I live on social security checks, and I'm not old enough yet for Medicare so I still have a $9800 out of pocket expense on my health care plan. I can't afford a better plan. I live on a budget. I also live within my means.
Exactly. A bubble. I too am privileged and live within my means. Itβs not something to get defensive about. Just reality. Inflation is over is something people w privilege say. Other people realize that all the price gouging that people called inflation is still affecting many.
I've never said that inflation is over. No idea where you got that from, it doesn't apply to me. Inflation is a constant. It's always there. Sometimes it's a higher rate than other times, but it doesn't ever go away.
But no, America doesn't need more "stimulus checks." The economy is not "cured." Hasn't been since Bill Clinton balanced the budget for the first and only time in American history. But it's better than it was four years ago. "The price of eggs" does not determine the health of our economy.
