Think ACLU and similar minded non-profits. This rule gives no push back on designations. How many non-profits could afford to lose tax-exempt status and still be viable? Probably less than I think. I contribute to a few and I would not want 1/3 of my donation to pay taxes, it defeats the point.

No. Not quite how the tax code works. The Treasury Dept can label any non-profit a terrorist org. Think ACLU or something along those lines. Go to YouTube and search Politics Girl, she gives a much better explanation. This is not some benign bill not to care about, it's dangerous and scary.

They already can label terrorist groups, and the group can't even contest it. That's IRC 501(p).

This bill is about orgs that provide support to those groups.

If i understand this correctly, the Secretary of State can label Organizations terrorist supporters (didn’t see any criteria) at her/his discretion and this would implicate any non-profit, which provided or received support from such organisations?

I don't think you are using the term "poison pill" correctly. A poison pill refers to a legislator adding an unpopular amendment to a bill that they don't want to pass so that it doesn't pass. This is just a deeply shitty bill that they are trying to pass.
