OH hahah! Sorry! But tldr Bali is expat-invested (lowkey colonized) by too many slavs that russian is like the 3rd most spoken language there. I got a friend that suddenly able to read cyrillic less than a year bcs basically every signs has russian written underneath them 😅
its really that bad, theres once even this case where a place in canggu renamed as 'new moscow' and gov didnt do anything regarding this expat problems making it worse. foreign expats/beg-packers are so favored while local tourists treated like 2nd class customers
