He's downright goofy when not on an op. Small pranks and more joking around. He's photobombed Gaz and Soap, even recruits enough times they all make a game of looking for the masked lieutenant hiding in the backgrounds of pictures they take. -

He's stern with the recruits during training, but once they're done for the day, they feel comfortable asking for more instruction or even advice. His office hours are open to anyone wanting to schedule extra training or just needing to talk. -

When someone comes in to vent, he'll listen and give advice, as well as make jokes until they leave his office feeling much lighter than they did when they entered. He'll even send them off with some sweets he keeps in his desk, saying 'chocolate is good for the heart'. -
