Super glad Schumer decided to interrupy Cory Booker's inspiring talk about John Lewis to announce he'd broken Thurmond's record. He asked if he could ask a question—and Booker said no, acknowledging it was the one time he could do that.

Schumer did it anyway. Sounds about right.
