Haha, I'm really happy you like the result ! I really liked all the details of her appearance, like her oxidized armor and her jade-colored wounded eye. You immediately want to know more about her, and that's what made me choose to draw her !

Moreso just dumb greed. Friend of mine had a good idea for cyclopes while we were chatting about them, they suggested the eyes be made of precious gems, so I wrapped that into how they work in my setting. They're very good for spell foci, so people try to poach them. Almost never goes well for em..

We haven’t had too many prominent cyclopses in our campaign so far.
But I may borrow that and add it to their lore.
The other giant types already get poached (illegally) for magical components, and this lines up cyclopses with the rest of them.
She looks so cool!
