POKEMON 3: THE MOVIE (2000)
Features a solid, uniquely sad and experimental hook for a kids' movie plot, and I can't help but admire the dreamlike yet emotionally mature way the film approaches its themes of grief, loss, and the acceptance thereof. Well-choreographed Pokemon battles, too!

A brisk, intriguing read that mostly manages to capture the unique anime-noir feel of Darker Than Black. In typical DtB fashion, though, the ending is trippy & kinda confusing and the more NSFW material and themes are handled... sloppily, to say the least.

Perhaps if I had about the context of "Colorful Stage" beforehand, I wouldn't have come into this movie with such lofty expectations, but I think Hatsune Miku's first-ever film should have been a little more than a middling commercial for a mobile game.

The Gerald Robotnik Movie was an occasionally-solid collection of fight scenes and touching flashbacks frequently interrupted by baffling plot choices, bizarre pacing, and crackhead scenes dedicated exclusively to Jim Carrey And Jim Carrey Doing Jim Carrey Things.
5.5/10????
The first half of the movie is a well-structured and compelling glimpse into the Hunger Games' infancy, and the second half of the movie is a confused mess that trivializes the backstory of a cruel man into "got fucked up after one bad breakup".
