I see English whisky uses the Scottish spelling. Maybe they could spell it a different way from Scotch and Irish - maybe English wiskey since they can't pronounce 'wh' anyhow.

After we were pulled out of the EU this was inevitable. Scotch Whisky will be made in England, cheaply and low quality and Scottish distilleries closed.
