I'm curious about that course. But it's on the Bayonet attack which starts at move 9. So raw depth is misleading since the first 9 moves are considered "known".

I've always questioned the chessable approach to opening study, as I prefer studying common themes, pawn structures, tactics, and model games. 24.7 average line length is, you state, insane. Only a professional player should be doing anything at this depth.

I'd like to see courses that were *only* guided tours through model games and perhaps guess the move activities + tactics from the opening(s).

The problem with those types of courses, from the seller's perspective, is that you cannot introduce "gamification" as easily and get people the dopamine rush they get from looking at scores and tallies and streaks. As a consumer of courses, I would love some of those though!

I saw one which is only 17 trainable variations and then a focus on tactics and themes, pretty crazy.
