yeah, saw that coming tbh. corpos didn't jump ship because of any deep seated moral concerns. advertising on Musk's twitter was merely seen as bad optics, but now that Nazi shit is in vogue again, they're all rushing back to embrace the new normal

I don’t use music subscriptions so I can see how that’d be hard to swap away from. I hope we see a more ethical competitor start up, maybe a FOSS storefront with direct-to-artist payments.

As a big Apple user and practically yearly iPhone updater, I can’t describe how disappointed I am in Tim Cook about this and his whole support of that political “movement”.

I hope he enjoys seeing his new iPhone advertised next to Nazi posts.

To be fair, the reason apple stopped advertising on Twitter wasn't over politics, they pulled advertisements as a middle finger to elmo after he refused to pay the cut he owed apple for appstore transactions.

I'm simply saying apple never cared about you or me or the political issues, they were always acting in their own self-interest.

It should be no surprise, apple never stopped advertising because they were against this, they've always been on that side.
