I can understand why Elon Musk wants to get rid of people at the SEC, the CFPB, etc that regulate his companies. It's corrupt but logical.

The threat of loss of life does not have any impact on this administration. How many hundreds of thousands died unnecessarily during Covid due to Trump's actions? And putting RFK in charge of health solidifies this.

They possibly saved my life last summer when I monitored tornados moving across NY state so I knew to stay home, got tornado warning and went in the basement with my pets, minutes later 2 large trees fell on my house. Myself and pets safe. I am thankful for NWS employees daily.

I understand that, just because the project 2025 authors wrote that they wanted to privatize weather, doesn't mean that private companies want NWS gone, the people who were that are idiots. My son works for AccuWeather and they are devastated by the cuts. NWS is not seen as a competitor.
