I sense that as the attacks (physical and in the media) on non binary people have increased so has support for you from those of us who are angry at the attempts to deny your existence by people like Badenoch in the UK and the Trump cult in the USA.

In 2018 I obtained a GRC, mainly so I could get a new birth certificate (personal reasons) and so that I could be married and buried as me.

Going on a list of trans folk didn't seem a dangerous thing to do back then.

Today? Yeah it's a big regret.

And... it's not confidence, it's just that they already know who we are. Being on the list of GRC holders is the least of our worries if they decide to go after us properly.

Not a cry for help. Not a cry for attention. My point was that for trans and non-binary people things are getting worse, and scarier, but then again they have been for so long. It is also so frustrating seeing how little people understand the intersectionality of hate.

The venn diagram of people who would happily erase trans and non-binary individuals, remove all migrants, and restrict women's rights, among other things, is a circle. Hate feed hate. People are scared right now, and not just in America, and it is largely ignored.

All so pointless as well, that's the tragedy - as if it makes the slightest difference to anyone but their nearest and dearest how anyone lives their life.
