ty! I primarily use JWildfire for my fractal art. It’s a free and open source IFS fractal flame explorer.
I usually start with random gen flames, find what I like, then mutate/transform/fine-tune until I get the colors and composition I want.
It’s all CC-BY, and I also share the parameter files:
