Agreed. I think it needs to be pointed out more often that the CPC and the Republicans are both part of an international organization (the IDU) dedicated to spreading right-wing ascendancy worldwide, and that Stephen Harper, Pierre Poilievre's old boss/mentor, is chairman of the IDU. It's homegrown.
