That's probable. But most "reward" for bullshitting or bluffing is short-term: it's about making the immediate problem/bind/obstacle go away as fast as possible.

I'm not sure about 'master of the art' or what would count as successful bullshitting. I suppose actually being right (without realising it at the time) might count as success so Johnson wouldn't necessarily be any good.
