I misremembered the mechs (AFWs, Armored Fighting Walkers) being called VT’s (Vertical Tanks) but I was thinking of Steel Battalion! Ring of Red was my first PS2 game. Remember it fondly, though apparently not clearly! 😆
Ahhh AWESOME. Yeah I freaking loved that ganme so much back then, Was blown away by the timer mechanics. Walking back and forth. aiming, firing, closing in out backing out. Amazing tensions.
