I'm a sucker for noir films. There's something comforting about the archetypes and moral ambiguity. Something about knowing things will always be tumultuous and uncertain, no matter who you are or what year it is.
And how do you choose to live through it?

I've said it before, but all the best movies have rivals that EXIT THE VEHICLE TO PHYSICALLY ASSAULT EACH OTHER!
Porco
Char's Counterattack
Talladega Nights
All cinema

This has been my favourite Ghibli film since I first saw it. I feel like I can physically feel my heart fill up when I come back to it ;-;

This and Nausicaa are my go-tos.
Mononoke's a great time too.
But if I have 17 hours to spare? It's Pom Poko time. Seeing those stupid tanuki celebrate every little win is the best.
