There’s a program now where they can go to a training center AND get faster expungement of records. (I’m not saying it is ok, but things have changed a lot since 2018

As a former firey who chose, with no reservations or coercion, to risk my life, this makes me seriously uncomfortable. The structure of their chain of command, the imbalance of power, their status as non-white prisoners, how do we know their lives aren't being unnecessarily risked? Flat out wrong.
