Governor Newsom’s office has just launched a website to combat right-wing misinformation regarding the fires. Really sad that this needs to be done, but here we are. Please share widely.

I think so, too. With most social media platforms removing fact-checkers it’s going to be harder to decipher the truth. This is a good way to combat it.
Sad that it's needed, especially in the midst of a major catastrophe! But great idea. Now, if the MAGAts will just bother to look at it. I've got some MAGAt immediate family members who automatically reject anything factual as "fake news" and refuse to read, watch or listen.
Right-wing lies have spread as fast as the fire. They’ve learned that if you just double-down the lies become the truth. Add to it that social media sites are in the hands of trump sycophants who amplify lies (then got rid of fact-checkers) and getting the truth out has become an uphill battle.

If other MAGA targets used the same strategy moving forward...
Build and post a website which contains a running account of all the FACTUALLY ACCURATE INFO...
It seems to be the most efficient way to address the incessant orchestrated nonsense...
Spreading lies and disinformation as usual..
