Based on available data, would Hannah read Lord of the Rings in MORE TIME, LESS TIME, or THE SAME TIME (± 30 min) as the extended edition movies?
(Reading for leisure, not intentionally speed reading.)

Vaguely book-related grumble: "Books Read Quick" would not be nearly as compelling a fundraising event as Games Done Quick, but I wish I could use my reading speed for charity somehow.

Digital? Closer to two minutes and my eyes fatigue much quicker - can't read as long.
Your reality may be different, but the movies are 2-3 hours each and my bet is a leisurely reading speed will take longer.
BUT—
If I read 20% slower, that’s ~792 minutes, outside our 30 minute margin of error for matching the extended edition length.
Now, The Hobbit + LotR faster than all six movies? No problem.
